Thank you for using your voice in this way, it's good for more people to learn about 'short money' It means EVERY single vote the Greens got will be helping our 4 new MPs to do their jobs in opposition; it was definitely not wasted. commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-bri...
โCelebrate: we have waited so long for this routing of the Tories. An unbearably rare moment of pure political joy. This is a moment to savour the worst of Tory sour breath being sucked out of politicsโฆโ www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Wouldn't it be nice if they grew up enough to do their dirty washing away from us. It's been 14 years of their drama and damage.
We've booted them out so we don't have to listen to, and deal with, the fallout of their toxicity any longer.
Whenever they say they represent ordinary people I hope there is always someone there to say 'not me', so they start to understand they've been gifted more media attention and free passes than they/their policies merit
While it's nice to finally hear a Tory say sorry, Sunak taking responsibility for this loss shows yet again how they are not listening.
This was not about timing; this was about lying, incompetence, ยฃ to mates/donors, parties, vicious policies, cruelty and damage.
ALL Tories played their part
It's also worth highlighting that two of these do a job-share as co-Leads of their party. I'm not sure we've seen that before in any other UK party so it's a good step forward
Looking forward to analysis on the Tory/Labour/Reform balance. It looked like in labour hold seats reform did well (ppl felt they could vote reform?), in labour gain seats reform didnt do so well (ppl just desperate to get Tories out?). Could be a worse problem in 2029 #GE2024
Have they called Brighton? I can only see 3 seats so far
But you are absolutely right, if Green and Reform have the same number the coverage will be wildly different
Getting a bit sick of this commentary that Reform have come from nowhere. Theyve come from UKIP and Brexit Party, and migration from the Tory party. It's just a renaming #GE2024
We started with that and they just brought Widdecombe on too, now we're heading elsewhere. No way I need to hear either one of them ever again. (Chris seemed to have a really right-wing set of guests - why??)
This is the time we can honour the dead. It's the first time we can vote since 2019 #votetactically for a #ToryWipeout2024 because the country is worth more than liars and cheaters.
Where did you get the dog goggles? Our elderly dog is struggling in sunlight as his vision goes and we think goggles might help. And then I saw your skeet!

It's time for our final newsletter of this academic year! Take a look for:
๐An introduction to our new challenge networks ๐Exciting events from us and our research community ๐ Plenty of updates (and images) of our work in June
I'm not normally a big podcast listener, but I'm very excited about this one landing next week from Abigail Harrison Moore and The Preservative Party talking about power and participating in research. whosepower.podbean.com
After nearly 6 years without a TV licence, the desire to watch a live decimation of the Tory party on election night is proving too strong to resist. I'm afraid I want to watch and enjoy every moment throughout the night. (Plus it'll really annoy Fartrage) #GE2024#GTTO
Lots of chickens coming home to roost for Tories now. Bet they wish they'd taken Russian interference in referendum seriously now.
(And in light of their (hopeful) decimation on Thursday, also considered PR rather than FPTP)

Wonderful! I didn't make jam/jelly last year because of gluts in previous years. I'm still making my way through blackberry from '21 and crabapple in '22 (and no end in sight yet!) in a desperate attempt to free ip space to make more again as its a lovely thing to do
I've seen someone else talk about a list of all Tories that we can cross off as they lose their seats. I've booked the whole day off on 5th so I can stay up through the night (finally repaying, in a good way I hope, the awful nights of 2015, referendum, 2017 and 2019)
