Stopped by Swing Arm City on our way to Moab. I want to get out here sometime in a vehicle without a heavy tent on top and not full of stuff. Still fun though! This was our friends first time out there and he was happy to get his Tundra a little sideways

8 days, 3400 miles, and 6 states and back home! It was a very successful trip without any major issues and the whole group is back home safe and sound. Lots of hiking and a few hundred miles off-road. Took my film camera too, hoping the old film was still good.

I've been to that point on a few things in my life. Most of the things were/are really important to who i am. Sometimes I just needed a break to refresh and sometimes especially with photography I needed a reminder how much joy it sparked in others and how happy it made me when I was doing it.

I didn't think I would be able to make it happen this year but I'm getting to go back to Le Mans! I got lucky and was able to use some points and found a really cheap flight home. The whole trip is only going to cost me like $1200 + food and lens rentals.

We lived in the suburbs and we're both driving into the city every day. We moved into the city and just the gas savings alone covered what the increase in our mortgage payment was. Now it doesn't help that I had an E92 M3 at the time. lol

$10,000 worth of damage later we have our 4runner back! Talked to the service advisor and they had 6 other cars in for rodent related issues but ours was the worst. Both main harnesses had to be replaced. The datsun doesn't have heat atm so it's nice to have a modern fully working car again

This was pre Christmas but did get the final quote for damage. Whatever rodent got into the engine bay did $9100 worth, chewed through both engine harnesses. If it's going to happen I guess it was better at home vs out in the middle of nowhere

Got a DJI ronin 2 at work that I'm definitely not going to be using for some personal projects as well. Surprisingly easy to balance even with the telephoto lens on the ursa.

Been trying to find a bottle of this whiskey for 2 years now, it's impossible to find anywhere near me. I saw a bottle in Vegas two years ago but didn't get it and regretted it. No one has bottles. Oh a whim I went back and it hadn't been touched and way cheaper than it should have been been!

Well that's unfortunate, some rodent got into the bay of our 4runner and ate through the main harness. Car was literally only sitting a day. Had planned on paying this car off earlier this year and dropping full coverage, glad I didn't

Wife and I took a nice drive out on the talimena scenic byway to catch the last of the fall colors.
Also the last big drive for the datsun before I pull the motor and start some winter projects on it.

I've had this car for a year and a half now and finally have it running properly. The shop that tuned it didn't get the timing right and the shop that rebuilt the carbs put the idle and air jets backwards. Feel like a proper sports car now that it'll go from a dig and I can actually rev match

Team Jota 963 at Least Mans, I picked up a Canon R5 before going this year, that combined with Adobe's AI de-noise helped me save some photos I thought were trash. Thinking about trying to get a press pass and go back again next year.
