no, she is just happy at times and a little down at others, like every person on earth. I've known her for years and have yet to see any signs of bipolar disorder. I'm not around her all the time. I suggested she get checked out for it but no one's happy all the time.

In my ex’s case his parents married and divorced each other 3 times (his dad married a total of 7 times) and there was a concerted effort to pathologize his anger and blame it in anything other than themselves.
