Yeah I have to say, I haven't delved into interviews and so on but him being crotchety in interviews and demanding when he's working doesn't, IMO, preclude him being decent as a person? We get his public face which is very much "out of fucks"

My stance remains the same, he's an asshole. But that's fine, because he's not an asshole to hurt people or make things worse. And he's often willing to say "fuck you" to the kind of people who want to use AI art. It's less a "fuck this guy" and more "he's right, but he can be right over there."
