Florence Ashley is again knocking it out of the park here. When I discussed homo technicus policy goals in law school, people mostly just nodded and smiled. Ashley is right to point out the normative and oppressive concerns that should be considered in any tech blurred human identity policy.

I am intentionally avoiding using the term transhumanism in part because I don't know all the baggage of the term, but I know enough to know it has some. If I ever make it to academia, what I want to study is this area of health, tech, IP, and consumer policy.
