On the plus side. I don't have to wear a survival suit when I fly over the water. On the minus side my house will be destroyed regularly, insurance's business model is financially untenable, food and water wars on the horizon with climate refugees.

Housing getting destroyed and insurance being unavailable at any price seems like a strong incentive to get into base housing as soon as possible. In the long run it might be wise to strategically retreat from Florida ala Rome abandoning Dacia and let the sea and Everglades take it.
