First, I'm sorry to hear this. Second, I've had similar problems with my partner. I'm guessing you're British and I'm not familiar with the health care and social services there, so I doubt I'll be much help. But you're not alone, and caregiving is difficult. Take care of yourself as well.

2 weeks of training? My only "military experience" was in Civil Air Patrol, but that's more than 2 weeks. I dropped out because--wait for it--I was sick of being the only girl in the entire squadron. I got called "sir-i-mean-ma'am-sorry" so many times. 🙄

....junkers, rice burners, etc. I got mine with a lot of mileage and some frankly disgusting crevices that I didn't notice when I test drove her, so she's been around the block, so to speak. Trying to think of all the vets and servicemembers I know, and while a few might lean conservative, they're not fascists, not white supremacists, not Trump fans. Most are definitely leftist. I think Americans just read firearms and the general tough guy attitude as right wing.
