that's the whole idea, yes people lose their jobs, their health care, and their homes, and then, once they get arrested for sleeping rough or nonpayment of tickets, they become slave labor for prison jobs.

Wonder if they'll be unskilled slave labor, or whether people who know how to program, for example, but had a bad series of catastrophes, will become slave labor programmers for corporations. Slave labor accountants. Slave labor proofreaders. Slave labor translators.
