Right. If democrats win, there is a chance things can be moved further left, because many do listen to constituents (overall the party *has* moved left since the days of Bill Clinton). If the GOP wins, rights will dwindle further for everyone except rich white men.

Jobs was an iconic asshole. Truly one of the biggest assholes who ever lived. The assholery it takes to be disgustingly rich, deny you’re the father of a girl named Lisa to avoid supporting her, THEN name an entire fucking computer LISA. Breathtaking. Changed the meaning of rich asshole forever.

What’s kind of amazing though is that I didn’t listen to a lot of The Beatles until I was an adult - and I’m still not a huge fan - but I could hear SO MANY other bands in their music. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, *The Pixies*, to name just a few. They were immensely influential.

I have brought this up MANY times when talking about immigration and people look at me like I just suggested we go back to using leeches to cure cancer. It wasn't that long ago! Every immigration policy we have is rooted in racism, and it does not need to be this way.
