I think sometimes it's just out of habit, it can be hard to actually shed an idea that's been so thoroughly beaten into you, and sometimes it's someone who's had a false order used to control them trying to find one that they can yield against others so they can enjoy a bit of power.

Oh, I mean, I fully understand that the reason I can be this lackadaisical about gender is because I was raised in an effortlessly gender neutral home, like, if my brother wanted a My little Pony and I wanted a he-man toy, that’s what my parents got us, and gave us all the same life skills.
