My 13 year old is just getting into horror - or just old enough to start watching more grown up stuff. He LOVED The Thing and enjoyed The Quiet Place movies, but I'm trying to think of things that aren't too slow burn to bore him (Aliens nearly killed him until Act 3). Any suggestions?

Definitely less than X. There's a scene toward the beginning of Maxine walking through an active "adult" set, and the actress involved says hi while she's getting...well, you know. Beyond that, there's nothing that sticks out (pardon the pun).
