I always feel weird when that happens, and I have cut back on replying outside my own timeline a bit (I figure anyone who replies to me on my account knows what they're in for), but I don't avoid *all* replies because then I'm that asshole who never replies elsewhere, etc.

I really did not love the Twitter dynamic of “comment on big post, big poster replies, claim you’re being bullied because they’re bigger.”

But really, the "block anyone you don't vibe with" attitude around here is pretty helpful. I can feel a bunch less guilty about it because the block is just *so* effective.

This kind of happened to me the other day when I quoted you, but that conversations went everywhere in wild and interesting ways. I appreciated it. (It was about our perception and connection with words--I brought up grey/gray and it went places. It was fun.)
