💯 Not cooling down at night thanks to the saturated air really intensifies the total heat effects on the body. It's not just urban heat islands anymore. Heat is the most deadly of all extreme weather events and doesn't get much coverage because it is not as 'exciting' as hurricanes and tornadoes.

We're at delta 35 which is pretty good, but that means 105 / 70. Just read a scientific journal article that people with heatstroke that aren't even hospitalized, something like half are dead within a year, the organ damage from excessive heat can be fatal.

Until a few years ago, we rarely used a/c at night. Now, it just runs for weeks at a time.
