and the pro tools for DVD menu design back in the day were pretty tough to learn! I taught myself Adobe Encore 1.x to make a good menu for my pirate Evanescence concert DVD (with bonus music videos!), and folks started asking where to buy a copy of the DVD 😅 Kinda gave me the warm fuzzies 😊

I think they were hoping to capture the office as well. As it stands, the current Harris county clerk is a black woman who appears to be doing everything possible to make voting as accessible as she's able within the still bullshit Texas voting restrictions

they didn't quite take over Harris county, election responsibilities removed to the Harris county clerk's office instead of its own commission. There's been some behind the scenes shenanigans, but clear heads have prevailed so far as I can tell.

now I'm trying to think up in-game voice clips for Dyke Nukem a la John St. John's lines and the various soundboard quotes. the problem is that other than "Tits of Steel!" it's basically just all the same quips anyway with a husky femme voice 🥵
