I don’t think so. I don’t think he picks anyone an advisor might say will expand his electoral appeal, specifically because that’s what Pence was, and I think he’s still so profoundly bitter over Pence’s, “betrayal.” Even Stefanik’s sycophancy doesn’t save her there, to my mind. She’s too ambitious.
