Once we hit that breaking point, the industry seemed to never really look back. Guess this makes since in hindsight: with the hip-hop takeover, most top 40 songs in the urban music market were explicit anyway. But it seemed like an unspoken rule that “clean” versions would still be accessible.

Which brings me back to Normani’s album: as of late there doesn’t appear to be a clean version of Dopamine anywhere. I don’t think I’ve seen this before — at least, not for an album by an R&B singer. Has this become commonplace?
