I can only imagine not releasing a clean version of the full album might be limiting the reach of her music to people who are old-school (or maybe kids whose parents who have content controls on their devices that hide explicit music on their streaming accounts)?

Anyway, just an interesting phenomenon to me: I cannot fathom an album by a woman R&B singer on a major label NOT having a clean version ten years ago. The times they stay a-changin'.
