It can be a hard job, especially at first. How hard really depends on where you are, and what your managers are like. But even in a good environment the learning curve is pretty steep. I always describe is as "no one part of my job is hard, but there are so many parts you have to learn at once"

I too am a fan of the Postal Service (mostly, they do dumb shit sometimes, but that what unions are for). Fun fact, the Postal Service is the only federal agency covered under the National Labor Relations Act. Meaning we're the only federal employee unions allowed to bargain for pay.

So... as a treasurer for a tax-exempt org... that's not a thing. Basically all tax-exempt orgs have to file *something* with the IRS every year. *What* you file depends on your gross receipts and/or assets, but you must file *something*.
