Banning medical debt from credit reports.
Cracking down on junk fees.
Banning non-competes.
Capping credit card fees.
Negotiating drug prices.
Expanding OT pay.
These Biden policies don't make headlines, but this is what it looks like when government works for the people.
For the 100K voters in the half dozen swing states: None of that matters. They are largely detached from everyday US politics and as Clinton noted, will favor "strong and wrong" over "weak and right". Right now Biden is weak, flailing, stubborn and greatly endangering the country
Democrats have continued for decades under the illusion that persuadable voters are totally left-brained, detailed policy wonks. They aren't. Both sides of the brain are engaged with voting as in life. Policy arguments alone lead to losing.
All great except Biden is completely complicit in the GENOCIDE of the Palestinians.
If you're willing to ignore that and only look at his "wins", then you're complicit in that genocide as well.
It's sickening to watch Dems laud Biden while completely ignoring him enabling Palestinian GENOCIDE!!.
“Banning non-competes”
How’s that report from Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court doing? Does it have enough dust yet, or do we need to send more money so it can sit on a shelf for four more years?
That’s the strategy right? Let them roll us, and then campaign on how we just got rolled.
Biden has numerous W's along with his L's.
He is far from the worst President.
Far from the best.
He's our good ol' average Joe.
A mixed bag. Good and bad alike.
Like a box of mystery chocolates.
Many days you have your favorite chocolate and then one day it's filled with shit in the middle.
Why does the media ignore Biden’s real achievements AND Trump’s lies, refusals to answer legitimate questions, vile statements and obvious cognitive deficits?
This is exactly why American oligarchs want to install Trump. Shareholder “value” over actual people. People have been conditioned to vote against their own best interests.
This is all good stuff and the Dems should really tout it. But ... it doesn't take away from what the U.S. & the world saw on Thursday night. President Biden should do the courageous thing, admit that he can't continue, and get behind another candidate ... IMO.
