i saw some AI company saying they animated memes to show what happens after the meme-pose, and included examples of memes that are just screenshots of actual movies or TV shows (like Picard's facepalm). and it's like... dude. it's a movie, it's a TV show. there's footage of what happens after!

but the reason the reaction meme is what it is is because it's a still frame or a still picture. having AI movie-fy or animate the picture not only doesn't add value, but it demonstrates the people behind the program don't have a clue of what value is
