I feel like, if I was a rich guy, I wouldn’t have to. I mean, you have other options, right. “Honey I have to go away for work” and bang! I’m a rich guy in a nice hotel in a random city. Take it from there. I am available for consultancy and therapy work with rich bad-decision makers.

I feel like people focus too much on “this is inaccurate” rather than on “these inaccuracies are contained within a chunk of fluid and plausibly human language that a few years back no computer could produce.” The LLM is a genuine breakthrough, the Generative AI useful but also over-hyped.

Loved A Quiet Place Day One. Would underestimate it to think of it as a horror film - it’s just a beautiful story in a horror setting. And different enough to the first two that it might be worth a watch even if you didn’t like them. Best thing of all - well under two hours.

Snap. I voted Labour, who won’t get in locally and who I don’t even prefer (I’m happy enough with the LibDem incumbent) simply to maximise the swing to Labour and bring home to future Tories that nonsense has consequences. Does it make sense? Maybe not but this is not a sensible election.

I like exams for keeping self-study on track - DELE for Spanish, HSK for Chinese, etc - as you need practical and balanced skills. It’s still possible to end up with “exam” skills and few practical skills, but it’s better than an app alone. Exam > textbook with tutor > expansion stuff on your own.
