What I find interesting about Tom's reaction is when Putin was threatening nuclear war after the full scale invasion of Ukraine it was one of calm and reason. Now he's repeatedly writing he's "worried" about Biden's electability. The end of the world is less bad than the end of our democracy?

I worry more about someone texting and driving and hitting me on the highway than I do about nuclear war. My car is more important than the end of civilization? Or I'm just not an idiot about relative risk?
