It's so interesting that a US Senator was so weak that he was unable to stand his ground. Maybe best that he resigned since that demonstrates that either he was worried about more allegations or he lacked the strength to hold that job.

You can absolutely make the argument that being a sex pest should not prevent someone from serving as an elected official and many Republicans will agree with you.
