Putting notes together for teaching relativity. Want to start with the simplest example of a change of coordinate frame and came up with two kids in the back seat of a car thowing a tennis ball "A car driving on the highway with two children in the back seat throwing a tennis ball"

Realised at some point that the relative lack of seasonality in US produce was a bit of a dog that didn't bark in the night when you lived in a place where it snowed. (Also never knew how good lettuce tasted until a trip home)

I sort of get it; it really is hard to imagine a better way to spend my time. I think what is more telling is the people who want to keep their office once they go emeritus - but my salary says I should be on top of my game and if you are no longer there it is time to do the decent thing.
