What did the Founders say? "A republic, if you can keep it." Honestly, if the American public is so monumentally checked out that they literally don't care if the next vote ends democracy, then, well, we're done.

Everytime I see one of those videos doing street interviews with random Russians and just see a spectrum from ultranationalist boasting as things collapse, keep your head down learned helpless and left-liberal cowardice I’m like that’s a year away, huh?
