The summer solstice occurs today at 21.50 BST, the earliest in more than 200 yrs. Our calendar is out of sync with the solar year, so each leap year the vernal equinox occurs around 40-50 minutes earlier than the previous leap year. All this and roses too! ‘Honey, Bee Mine’ Bred by Colin Dickson. 🌱
