Democrats play by some weird set of rules from a period of time circa late 70s until the 90s that only they still understand the rules to, gives their opponent a giant advantage and has proven to be unlike any other time period in the history of the American politic.

The Democratic leadership in this century has included 20th century politicians - Clinton, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Biden, Ginsberg all were products of a more gentile, pre-24/7 news cycle time. We get the politicians and leadership we vote for - or others vote for if you’re on the sidelines.

democrats were already refusing to do anything to help people by the 1970s. They’re not bound by a set of rules, they simply do not want to make your life better, and never have.

The rules are the rules, but the Dems never want to be in charge, only the opposition party. The fact that they get elected despite their attempts to push the GOP is endlessly frustrating.
