No ability to pile on to a whack thread? Forcing people to move on, find something else to do. Laundry maybe? This clearly limits people in their daily affairs. idk if this is the right move.

What, curbing "bandwagoning" and social media "mobs" from flaming threads and threatening people. So, it's been possible this whole time (not here but I'm older platforms) and people just weren't working to implement O.P. controls...
