Sad to see that the huge old dead gum tree at my bus stop is gone. I've watched, over the past few years, as a pair of galahs have been hollowing out the top. I saw them this morning - sitting on a nearby light pole. They'll be wondering where their tree went 🙁 Dead trees have value.
