Jen: Perhaps, 'liberal' teachers might include passages such as: Ezekiel 16:17, 23:18-21, Deuteronomy 25:11-12, Proverbs 5:19, Solomon's 'Song of Songs': 1:13, 4:16, 5:4, 7:3, 7:7, 8:10, 1 Samuel 18:20-30, Exodus 4:25, and Genesis 19:5, 19:30, 19:35. I'm fairly certain that would embarrass MAGA :-)}

I'd be happy if a health teacher was allowed to fully explain what begat means. And oh my yes, the Song of Solomon will always be a better love story than Romeo & Juliet.

It won’t. I know what you’re getting at, but trust me, they’ll see any official teaching of the Bible in public schools as a win. Even if it’s passages about squidgy topics. Their version of logic will twist you in circles. Source: I was raised by these people.
