if anybody out there is looking for mystery recs, Tana French’s The Hunter (sequel to The Searcher) is worth a read. Slow paced, and more of a western than a mystery novel, but the tension increases at a good clip as you can sense a small town disaster looming

I liked The Searcher, but I thought French’s attention to detail in The Hunter was phenomenal. I didn’t want it to end
