I do not understand how the last sentence of this paragraph follows from what comes before it. It's from an op-ed by Adam Frisch, a Democratic candidate for Congress, calling for Biden to drop out.

As Julia Ioffe has pointed out, she's seen this sort of message discipline and public unity...in her native Russia! What's interesting is that he describes a one-sided problem that only applies to one party and uses that to condemn BOTH parties!

Things not mentioned in this op-ed: dictator authoritarian Project 2025 Supreme Court immunity felon It does not say abortion but rather "protecting the rights of women and eliminating government-mandated pregnancies." ?
