Yeah. You’re missing the point. There is a dip for Biden in polling averages. So saying that there is a “slide in the polls” is accurate. What you seem to be arguing is that the slide isn’t meaningful and is just noise. Which may be true. But referring to a slide in polls right now is accurate.

Is “ha deberim” typically translated as commandments? I’ve always understood it more as “words” or “things” while “mitzvah” is closer to “commandments.” I guess in context it could be like “the ten of these things” in a section of commandments?

I see a tension here that I’m not sure how to resolve. Lincoln’s suspension of habeas corpus (and Truman and Youngstown) were used as justification for W Bush’s illegal spying program on US citizens. Circumventing executive restraint weakened it as a value, to where it could later be ignored.

Out of curiosity, why did Judge Merchan insist that the stills couldn’t be admitted without a sponsoring witness? Is that a procedural thing? And if the defense hadn’t relented, would the stills have been admitted with the C-span witness testimony? Or just the testimony?
