Next time someone mentions using generative AI in its current state for alt text l'm gonna bombard them with questions about digital accessibility that isn't about alt text. I got a suspicion that the convenience (or inconvenience) is about as far as they think about it.

I see MFs fighting about alt text when accessibility people are fighting for our lives to get critical fundamental changes made on platforms. Changes since they literally aren't visual no one seems to be concerned about when it's pointed out they have a bigger effect than alt text.
