If it can go on electricity, using hydrogen is the wrong idea. Which basically leaves rockets as the only thing where hydrogen as fuel can make sense. Corollary: If it works with renewables, nuclear is also the wrong idea. Which mostly leaves warships and the outer solar system for nuclear.

Honestly the still needing it for other processes is pretty big. And THANK YOU for also being on the "yeah let's not" on the nuclear for electricity side. Personally I find the waste to be incredibly not sustainable not to mention what happens if a facility gets bombed in wartime.
