Addendum: For the length the DOD went to try to persecute an Australian journalist under the espionage act for publishing war crimes, Trumps showing confidential material to foreign agents would qualify easily under that act, plus, Trump being US citizen, in fact treason as well.

Ja, die aktuell dominierenden Linien sind sehr immunevasiv. Jedoch führt die Impfung mit dem XBB.1.5-Impfstoff zur Bildung kreuzreaktiver Antikörper, die im limitierten Umfang auch vor aktuellen Varianten schützen. Die angepassten Impfstoffe gibt es voraussichtl. erst ab September. Die Maske hilft.

Nice work & write-up by Andrej Karpathy reproducing GPT-2 (the 2019 state of the art) from scratch using about $20 of cloud compute and his llm.c implementation. I think we need not only open weights but more of this kind of thing, end to end reproducible, fully documented artifacts.

Absolutely. Unpolished steel is porous, the more polished it is, the flatter the surface and the less area oxygen can dock on. My replica 15th century armour is also highly polished (and a nightmare for photographers) because that was a well-known (and good looking) method to avoid rust.

If it can go on electricity, using hydrogen is the wrong idea. Which basically leaves rockets as the only thing where hydrogen as fuel can make sense. Corollary: If it works with renewables, nuclear is also the wrong idea. Which mostly leaves warships and the outer solar system for nuclear.

In fact, dirigibles are a pretty sensible way to use hydrogen. In contrast to heating or to use as fuel for almost anything. Hydrogen is much needed for industrial processes, partly to replace oil-based products; it's would be totally nuts to use it as vastly more expensive electricity replacement.

Since the other party are not monarchists right now, but fascists, it's quite clear on whose side he is. And if the fascists win, the democrats (and republicans too, even monarchists) will probably need to be partisans -- guerillas, that is.
