So, Biden's role in the 1994 crime bill was bad. But he directed Garland to seek sentences for crack offenders equal to those for powder cocaine. (They had been literally 100x worse prior to 2010 and 18x worse after.) The 1:1 ratio is a huge development that got no press at all

And in my district it's fully retroactive, undoing quite a bit of the harm he caused.
