Anyone do dream interpretation? I had a dream that I took my parents with me to my psychiatrist appointment (neither of them actually know I'm in therapy), but my shrink was out of town? The office said I'd gotten a letter about this, but I had forgotten. I felt really hollow and just done.

I have lost all ability to trust my body. I don't go to the doctor, because I know they won't believe me anyway. It's next to impossible to properly take care of myself. And I often end up pushing myself hard when what I need is rest.

Parents, if your kid says they're sick, just believe them. My parents never did, and now I'm 36 and sobbing on my couch because I genuinely can't tell if I'm in too much pain to go to the gym or if I'm just making excuses because I'm lazy.

My shrink is also pretty sure I have thyroid issues (because of the constant depression, fatigue, and a bunch of other symptoms), but my GP says my numbers aren't low enough for treatment because I'm "not symptomatic"...
