Nah it was something I read in my emotion thesaurus where you should reserve those types of emotions for the scenes that need it most (I think?) but I don't think the authors took into consideration nd people and kids struggle to regulate emotions sksksksksksk

None of their parents would ever acknowledge them being nd. In fact my dad was considered "seriously emotionally disturbed" bc it was the 80s and he wasn't textbook autistic/adhd. And my mom was just not even considered as being different. Just maybe a little 'heads in the cloud'...

My supervisor (also is my work dad™) is 47 and got his ADHD dx in the past year or two. My dad is 50 and just got his autism/adhd dx over a year ago. My mom hasn't been formally dx'd but she's about to turn 47 and she is self-dx'd as autistic/adhd. (/cont)
