Like this situation where people go on about their D&D game and at some point I ask if I could join in on the next round. And it’s happened now for bg3. Tons of chatter and talk of 3-4 stacks, its like, playing alone just emphasizes that left out feeling like a jet cone spotlighting a glassed planet
I never know when these games end, or a natural way to join in. Even with friends Ive known for almost a decade, it just never works out and I am worried I’m a problem, but so unsure how to improve. 🫥
I could try the online route but I want to spend irl time together.
I’m sorry you’ve experienced that.
I’ve also had trouble getting invited to tables in the past - that’s why I started DMing but after a few years doing it - I just ran out of time/energy/steam
I actually *JUST* got invited to a regular table for the first time at 41 yrs old! So don’t give up! ❤️🩹
