I can see someone saying "but the left uses just as apocalyptic language about Trump." Here's the difference. Trump's stated plans (and the more elaborated version we see from his Project 2025 allies) is incredibly radical. If he does even 1/2 of it, the country will be unrecognizable in 10 years.

Yes, all that infuriates me—genocide, the targeting of specifically trans people and the LGBTQ community as a whole, the silencing of opposition to that and to racism, denial of healthcare, cruelty toward homeless people and immigrants, attacks on libraries and education—these are their goals
