The person who wrote that tweet is a huge fan of Cleon Skousen, a guy who identified a bunch of stuff right wingers didn’t like in the 1950s and then wrote a book falsely claiming he had evidence that all of those things were part of the Commies’ written plans. open.substack.com/pub/sethcotl...

You know who else loves Skousen? Ben Carson. This article is from 2015, but just the other day I saw Carson promote Skousen’s book as a brilliant expose on how Communism worms its way into the minds of America’s youth. www.motherjones.com/politics/201...
