To watch our putatively "originalist" Supreme Court contort itself into pretzels to do the bidding of their plutocratic patrons and the guy at the head of the GOP who makes Aaron Burr look like a saint should be enough to raise the hackles of anyone who cares about history.

If anyone had the clout to make the general public (& not just partisan Democrats) to stop for a sec & say "whoa, those SCOTUS originalists really are full of shit" it would be Gordon Wood. But no...instead we get this boring WaPo piece that makes the same argument I heard as an undrergrad in 1988.
