Greens just won two rural constituencies in England, taking then from conservatives. Progressives need to be less afraid to campaign and talk to people who might be receptive but don't have exactly the same perspectives

Ideally the UK would adopt an electoral system similar to Norway's, only without the geographical disproportionality, and the culture of complacency among the political parties in regards to voter engagement outside of election periods

2019 in Oslo was also historic for Greens, I'll always be very proud of what we did, primarily with massive effort from volunteers where other parties can buy and influence their way to attention and therefore electoral support

Folk begynner å bli veldig lei og klar for noe nytt. Det kan bli spennende nå framover, og slå ut begge veier (mer høyrepopulisme i kanskje uventet former). Valgsystemet er historisk upopulær på dette tidspunktet. Labour mangler en solid demokratisk mandat og godviljen som trengs for å bli sittende

If you're not involved in political campaigning, give it a try if you are able to. For me it's a meaningful antidote to doomscrolling and despair. You can meet some like-minded people, touch grass, and maybe change your part of the world in a small little historic way.

Briefly returned to the hellsite because of the UK elections and the actually important function it still has for political organising there. But that's the extent of it. Awful place with a handful of very valuable connections that aren't here

We did it! A very poignant moment, this has been years of hard work for so many volunteers. Met so many voters yesterday that were proud and happy to be able to vote Green for the first time in a general election

Until now Greens have had ONE of 650 seats despite millions of votes. We have had to fight every time to keep it and succeeded. Daring to imagine that this Bristol seat will now stay Green and Carla will stay in Parliament for a long time.
