I have memories of climbing the mulberry tree in the summer and coming in with purple all over our faces and arms (and clothes) and no appetite for dinner. Good times. 💚

This is a core memory to my early childhood too. It is why we planted the tree when we settled. ❤️

It was peach trees for me. We lived near a small orchard and helped the farmer pick peaches and cherries for their roadside stand. I had my fill of peaches every summer.
