The construction guide will be used. These biscuits are mostly for trying the recipe. Next to try is the scrambled eggs. I have to fold round 3 scrambled/omelet eggs into a rectangle that can be portioned evenly to three sandwiches.

No. Many years ago I tried regular butter. The problem was in the taste etc. This is an old family recipe I want to taste like the way my grandmother made. The trans fat in vegetable shortening was removed years ago. I am intrigued by the fancy butter though.

I’m moving on to the secret family recipe holiday crescent rolls. My mother, aunt, or grandmother likely clipped it out of a magazine. The crisco is important, I’ve tried substituting butter and it doesn’t work.

I have to admit they are not as good looking as I’d hoped. Each biscuit will be cut in half to make a sandwich, these will make six sandwiches. Baking at altitude is always a crapshoot.

Size doesn’t matter to me. My kids used to love going to those shows with the birds of prey and sit right up front. I’d wait in the back. Same with the the snake shows. “Want to hold it dad?” “Get that thing away from me.” Here’s oldest with baby alligator 6 years ago. This is closest I got.
