See in I actually think one of the weaknesses in shadowbringers was how it insisted on making Ran'jit your "rival" instead of focusing on his conflict with Thancred and Rynne. I don't think we needed to be the ones to stop him and I like that they let an NPC have more relevance here.

I also don't think SHB was free of flaws either - it was amazing, sure, but appreciating an amazing narrative also requires you acknowledge the flaws in it, too. For one, I'm surprised *no one* even thought about Vauthry being Kholusia's Lightwarden... like, there's Sin Eaters around him???
