Digging around in one of my storage boxes and unearthed a relic of AD&D's early 90s bump in popularity and TSR's efforts to introduce the game to a wider audience. This is one of the modules for TSR's Mystara campaign setting that had audio CDs with them to aid new GMs in adding immersion.

Every single Marvel and DC comic had a TSR ad in it during this era. This bump led to the Satanic Panic, I believe.

Night of the Vampire was the only one I played of these audio CD enhanced modules, and had First Quest to go with it. It's a low-level adventure, intended to ease players in. I'm pretty sure the audio CD has been uploaded to YouTube; it's worth checking out to enjoy the cheesy performances.

Oh I have one of these, the First Quest version! The audio CD really lends to the immersion.

Those early audio CDs were fantastic! When I started playing TTRPGs as a young teen my first DM had them, so every scene had a soundtrack. I was spoiled!
