The four pillars of flight sim-mery on Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, published from 1991 to 1993. Varying degrees of simulation accuracy but rich in vibes and presentation to fill in the gaps left by cramming it all into three buttons and a start button. Night Storm is easily the most cinematic.

I miss the simplicity of these. As far as sims go, I only ever got my hand on M-1 Abrams Battle Tank. Rented F-22, tho

Come on down, hidden pillar number five! It's little known now compared to the others, but Mig-29 from Domark received a rather accomplished port in 1993. And this is easily the most simulation-heavy of the quintet. Wisely, they made use of the six button joypad and in-game menus for functionality.
