The article is not written to any particular high journalistic standard. It feels like something that's targeted to go viral among people that are appalled by such behavior. Everyone is repeating the 'Neil said this in response' bit with absolutely no 2nd hand confirmation.

There’s also no second hand confirmation of assault. There never is. So we don’t believe that either? I’m not going to argue this with you. I conceded that I want more info. But I am also willing to believe 2 women were assaulted over a Tory conspired smear campaign against 1 niche person.
